With these initiatives, the historic Italian Dermocosmetic Group makes its own valuable contribution in supporting the fight against Coronavirus and expresses its deep gratitude to health care workers by offering them self-care kits, hoping to provide some relief.

Istituto Ganassini, the historic Italian dermo-cosmetic Group that owns brands like Rilastil, Bioclin, Vidermina and, Tonimer, has also taken action to join the fight against COVID-19.

Here are the three projects to support Italy and its people.

The first one consists in a donation often life-saving ultrasound devices (for a value of 220,000 euros) to the intensive care units of hospitals that are on the front lines of the battle against COVID-19: Ospedale Mangiagalli-Policlinico di Milano, Ospedale Fatebenefratelli di Milano, Ospedale De Marchi - Policlinico di Milano, Ospedale Buzzi di Milano, Ospedale San Carlo di Milano, Ospedale di Varese, Ospedale di Crema, Ospedale di Lodi, Ospedaledi Brescia, Ospedale di Melegnano.

The second initiative involves the conversion of some operations into a production line for100,000 bottles of hand sanitizer, which will be distributed free of charge to hospitals and pharmacies.

And last but not least, a special thank you to those who are struggling on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic: healthcare workers in hospitals are going to receive wellness and self-care kits to help relieve daily stress and tiredness.

"During this very delicate moment for our Country, we feel more than ever a sense of responsibility to help and support our community." says Domenico Ganassini, President of Istituto Ganassini. "For over 80 years we have been standing by millions of Italians through our products. But today we are the first to realize that this is not enough. Extraordinary actions are needed to battle a health emergency, which is why we decided to marshal our skills and resources to help our Country amid these unprecedented circumstances.”

"These projects are only the beginning of our commitment to supporting this Country we call home. Within our possibilities, we will continue to make our own contribution to our beloved Italy and its people. However, we can’t do this alone. Only our unity, together with all our combined integrity, strength and passion will help our dearly loved Country to tackle and overcome this moment of difficulty that might have the power to unite us even more." concludes Ganassini.
